Computer system's ports description :

 Infrared ports : 

1. Communicate with the system without using wires.
2. Devices send out infrared signals that enter the system though the ports.
3. Range up to 6 feet.

Serial Port :

3. Connects devices such as the mouse, modems etc.

5. This port is very popular for computer desktop pc now.

Parallel Port :

1. Transmit 8 bits of data at a time.
2. It has 25 pins.
3. Connect devices such as printers, scanners, external hard disk drive etc.
4. It is very popular for old model computers and new also.

USB :

1. Connect up to 127 devices to a single ports.
2. Plug and play support.
3. Maximum cable length is 30 meter . Thus you can connect 5 hubs to the USB.
4. It has 4 pins.
5. USB is a very popular port for computer or technology world now.
